In addition to working regularly as an actor in New York, Boston, and Los Angeles, Renee was a Ford “Salute to Education” Scholarship recipient, a Silver Knight Nominee, and taught dance for several after school programs and at the Harlem School of the Arts. She is a former Miami Heat Dancer/choreographer, and is a graduate of the prestigious Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University. Renee received her B.S. in Economics and Accounting from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

University, she loved entertaining readers with offbeat stories from suburban Chicago. After graduating with a master’s from Harvard, Bianca moved out to Los Angeles to work in TV programming and development. While in entertainment, Bianca had the honor and joy of mentoring and championing young, talented writers. She has two M.B.A. degrees, one from Columbia and one from UC Berkeley, as part of a joint program. Bianca also studied at London Business School. She is currently a marketing professional and enjoys helping students identify their perfect college and how to best position themselves for admissions acceptance.

Tyler

Currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Southern California, Tyler has performed research in both the mechanical and aerospace
engineering departments. Having intimately studied kinematics and combustion and now focused on fluid dynamics, his current research at Dryden Wind Tunnel Laboratory is on Novel Aircraft Design (specifically exploring a parameter space of tail geometry and set angles that provides the most practical system for flight efficiency and control) as he looks forward to a career as an aerodynamicist. In addition to Tyler’s academic accolades, he played football as a quarterback for USC during his undergraduate studies, currently tutors for the Athletic Department at USC, and is a member of The Society for Automotive Engineers as well as a member of a Formula Madza race team in the Sports Car Club of America. In addition to helping Aureus students with all levels of math, Tyler is able to tutor students in advanced courses, such as Calculus (all levels), statics, dynamics, engineering physics, electricity and magnetism, thermodynamics, differential equations, heat transfer, materials science, fluid mechanics, quantum mechanics, and more. Though he relates incredibly well with students, he believes in giving them quite a bit of responsibility while remaining firm and focused on results.

Justin is currently a doctoral student at USC, pursuing his Ph.D. in Integrative Biology of Disease. He also holds a bachelors degree in psychobiology from UCLA, as well as a masters degree in cell biology. Though Justin’s passion is for both science and education (he has over 8 years of tutoring experience), he is also a UCLA sports fanatic and loves hiking, biking, playing tennis, and enjoying the incredible array of independent movie theaters throughout L.A. His current duties as a faculty member at USC include hands-on instruction in the biology laboratory setting, creating and implementing exams and course content, and welcoming his students during office hours. When it comes to tutoring, Justin focuses on helping students with course work in biology, chemistry, and physics, preparing students for the SAT-II and AP exams in those subjects, as well as prepping students for the SAT-I and ACT exams.

Having attended high school in Manhattan Beach, California, Adaora graduated cum laude with a degree in Operations Research & Financial Engineering from
Princeton University and went on to obtain her Ph.D. in Industrial & Systems Engineering–with a concentration in Economic Decision Analysis and minor in Economics–from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). During her tenure as a Ph.D. candidate, Adaora tutored high school and college students extensively, served as an NSF STEP Fellow, where she taught Math I and Math II to high school students, and was an instructor for undergraduate courses in Supply Chain Economics. In addition, she earned the Tech to Teaching Certificate from Georgia Tech’s esteemed Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning. Adaora recently moved back to the Los Angeles area after serving as a Visiting Professor in the Industrial & Systems Engineering department at Georgia Tech. Rachel received her M.F.A. from Columbia University’s Graduate Film Program, where she was awarded the Arthur Krim Memorial Award and won the Comedy Central Award for Best Comedy at the 2004 Columbia University Film Festival for her featurelength screenplay. She spent two years as co-chair of the Columbia University Film Festival and was an original, creating team member of ScriptConnect, a forum that introduces agents, managers, producers, and executives to young writing talent. Scot F.

Scot has been a professional tutor since 1996. He works primarily with high school and college students, and his areas of expertise are math, science, English, and standardized exams such as the SAT, LSAT, GRE, and GMAT. He specializes in advanced subjects such as calculus, statistics, economics, and AP physics and chemistry. His high school students have gone on to attend leading universities, and his college students have been admitted to the top graduate institutions in the nation. Two recent GRE students have each posted a 10-point increase on their math scores, on a 30-point scale!

Scot earned a BS in Applied Math from Caltech, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from UCSD, and a law degree from UCLA. He has continually scored 800 on the Math and Verbal portions of the SAT, 99th percentile on the LSAT, and a perfect score on the GRE. In addition to his tutoring, Scot has been an adjunct instructor of mathematics at a variety of two- and four-year colleges since 1996. Stosh

A graduate of Yale University with a B.A. in English and Film Studies, Stosh Mintek currently serves as Executive Producer for the Ghetto Film School (GFS), a non-profit dedicated to training young filmmakers. Prior to this role, he served as Program Director for the same firm, overseeing more than 400 students, and has since led new development and education initiatives, including the launch of an online global partnership with Google.

As part of the Admissions Consultancy at Aureus Prep, Stosh works with students on school selection, interview preparation, and on crafting admissions essays and statements of purpose that allow each student’s unique voice and experience to come to life on the page.
