After an initial, free assessment of the student’s needs (or sometimes simply a conversation with a parent), a tutor is carefully matched based on the student’s needs. Sessions begin thereafter, as often as needed, with tutors traveling to and working in the student’s home.
Students from elementary school through graduate school can obtain help with academic subjects as well as test prep and admissions consulting.
We work one-on-one with each of our students, creating a unique and personalized curriculum for each. Therefore, we can easily work through multiple subjects with each student. We often work in tandem with siblings, though each Aureus Prep tutor has a specific breadth of knowledge, so it may make sense for siblings to work with different tutors.
We work throughout the greater Los Angeles area and will travel to the student’s home for all tutoring sessions. We do have tutors who travel with families during the Summer and other vacations, or who tutor high-profile clients on location or internationally.
Absolutely! Aureus Prep aims to keep each student working with the same tutor so that a long-term working relationship is formed. This is what helps us create successful outcomes with each student.
Yes. We always want to know how your sessions are going and we keep up with the progression of each of our student’s sessions. Please feel free to let us know if there are any issues or if you would like to try another tutor.
